Outdoor Features

The outdoor area includes a well maintained swimming pool (length:10.5 m, width:3.8-5.80 m depth:1.45 m) with an outdoor shower, a grass lawn and a garden with many beautiful flowers. Also the large oven and grill are at your service for a lovely evening with your friends. Your car you can be placed in the parking lot, next to which a garden with organic fruits and seasonal vegetables can be found. Of course, recycling and harmony with nature is essential and nonnegotiable principles of Arkadi Hills Estate.

Indoor Features

The apartments of Arkadi Hills Estate are fully equipped. Inside, amongst others you will find comfortable couches, a double-bed, closets, a dining room table, two bathrooms with showers in each one, a TV, heating units, air conditioning, ironing equipment, a hairdryer, a baby bed (if needed), a fully equipped kitchen and a large terrace overlooking the sea.

Room Dimensions

Each apartment at Arkadi Hills Estate is possible to accommodate up to 6 people. In total the average size of the apartment is 64sqm. The first floors dimensions are around 36sqm; there our visitor finds the living room, a kitchen, one bathroom, a dining room and a terrace at the entrance. The second floors dimensions are about 28sqm and it include a bedroom, closets, another bathroom and a balcony.


Room cleaning and change of linens (sheets, towels) takes place every three days. The pool is cleaned regularly and is available during the summer season.

The monumental aristocratic elements of the past are harmonically combined with the modern architectural point of view creating a unique atmosphere. The Great Gate, the Mosques, the Rimondi Fountain, the Venetian Loggia, the Fortezza, the small Venetian harbor are wonderful remnants of past periods and the unique charm of the old town which, in coexistence with the modern shops, cafes and restaurants, forms a magical picture.

If you have a passion for trekking, we will assist you in finding the famous E4 path next to ancient ruins or simply guide you in walking through breathtaking gorges. As well, you can discover lesser known paths while trekking along the hills of Psiloritis or even as far as the White Mountains.


If you are into sports and especially tennis, we have just the coach to help you strengthen your forehand or to guide you along your backhand or to simply have fun on the courts.


If you prefer biking, renting is easy! You can organize your 'Tour de Crete' with other expert bikers or venture out on your own to explore traditional Cretan villages in Eleftherna or even religious sites such as the Arkadi Monastery.


The Inca Path

THE INCA PATH THE MYSTICAL ANDIN TRADITION We welcome you to our opening ritual (Despacho) on the 27th of December 2015 19:00 at Arkadi Hills Estate in Rethymno. Despacho is a ritual performed in order to provide harmony and order, amongst the deepest strengths in the human soul. The purpose is to generate an energetic space, between our self and the reality around us. The Inca Tradition is divided into 3 parts (Phana, Chaupi, Lloque) and its roots are based on a great, unique and simple universal principle, Reciprocity: Ayni. The lessons will take place on the 28th and the 29th at the same location. You will be taught simple techniques that will enable you to experience a deeper knowledge of yourself and to build stronger personal power, to better guide you in your life.
